General Terms

All bookings made with North Dublin Plumber 24 Hrs are subject to these Terms & Conditions only. These terms override any other conditions, whether written or verbal, unless agreed in writing and signed by an authorised representative of the company.

Pricing & Payment Terms

  • Payment must be made to A Plus Building Services Ltd immediately upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

  • We accept payment via cash, cheque, or online card payment.

  • The price of the work will be agreed upon before the commencement of the job.

  • All prices include VAT at 13.5%, unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices quoted cover plumbing work and/or supply of materials only. Removal and disposal of waste materials can be arranged at an additional cost.

  • We do not get involved in disputes between letting agencies and tenants. The person who makes the booking is considered the customer and is responsible for payment unless agreed otherwise in advance.

Project Payments

  • For jobs valued over €3,000–€4,000, staged payments (typically 2–3 stages) will be required.

  • Payment terms and schedule will be agreed before work begins.

Cancellations / Non-Attendance / Refund Policy

  • Customers must provide reasonable notice for cancellations.

  • Failure to provide access at the agreed time may result in a call-out charge.

  • Deposits (if applicable) may be non-refundable depending on work scheduled and materials ordered.

Health & Safety

Our engineers reserve the right to refuse or withdraw from any job where the working environment is considered:

  • Unsafe

  • Hazardous to health

  • Inaccessible or unsuitable for carrying out the work

In such cases, the issue will be reported, and the visit may be chargeable.

General Requirements

  • We will provide an invoice for all completed work.

  • A valid insurance certificate can be provided upon request.

  • Customers must inform us in advance if:

    • There is no parking available

    • There are access restrictions

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

    • The work area is clear and accessible

    • No obstructions (e.g. ongoing building work, clutter, restricted access) delay the job

 Delays caused by site conditions may result in additional charges.

Delays & External Factors

Prices cannot be reduced due to delays or issues outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Other trades not being ready

  • Incomplete construction work

  • Restricted access from management companies

Additional Work

If additional work is requested that was not agreed at the time of booking:

  • We reserve the right to decline the request if required materials or equipment are not available

  • Any approved additional work will be charged separately
